Publication Principles

Academic impartiality and scientific quality constitute the primary criteria in the evaluation of manuscripts submitted to the journal. Authors are expected to declare that their submissions are original works that have not been previously published in any language and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Journal of Social, Economic and Politics Researches (SEPR) is a refereed journal. The editorial board first evaluates manuscripts for preliminary suitability and then forwards them to referees. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two referees. If one report is positive and the other negative, the manuscript may either be sent to a third referee or be decided upon by the editor based on the available reports. Suggestions, critiques, and corrections provided by referees are conveyed to the authors while preserving referee anonymity. Authors are obliged to consider and address referee feedback. Should authors insist on their original text, the editorial board re-evaluates the manuscript.

Manuscripts approved for publication, in line with referee reports, are subsequently reviewed for compliance with formatting, language, references, and visual guidelines. Provided that no major deficiencies are identified, the final assessment is carried out by the editorial coordinator.

The copyright of all manuscripts accepted for publication is deemed to be transferred to the Journal of Social, Economic and Politics Researches (SEPR). The views and opinions expressed in published articles remain the sole responsibility of their authors.

Important Notice

The processes of application, preliminary review, field editor evaluation, referee review, revision, and final publication for manuscripts submitted to SEPR generally take between 6 and 12 months. All stages are managed exclusively through the online article submission system, and authors are not notified through alternative channels.
